This is Erika David, a “rising pop star” who sang God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch of the Dodgers game. Gotta think she wants a mulligan after that performance.
I sometimes have a dream that I’ve been asked to sing the national anthem and I always forget the second line of the song. Not sure where that one is coming from, but it’s reassuring to learn that they started putting the lyrics up on a big scoreboard right behind home plate for the singer now.
That probably would’ve helped Erika.
