Having Fun with the Gators on YouTube

First of all, I’d like to thank Phil for dealing with his loss with integrity and sportsmanship. Seeing as I lost about 22 consecutive games of FIFA soccer or NCAA Football this year on the road, I at the very least salvaged some respect with dominating him in the bowl pick ‘em challenge. While neither of us should claim victory with the Pick Six, it was nice going on a bit of a roll this year in the bowl season, and its good to know I’d have finished in the money in the RTGD Challenge if I was eligible for a free t-shirt.

Here are a couple videos I found while cruising the net this morning for college football content. The first video if of Tim Tebow making his announcement that he’s coming back for his senior year. While nobody wants to listen to bumbling Fox announcers acting like its the first game any of us have watched this college football season, just because it’s their first game announcing college football this season, it’s pretty tough to dislike Tim Tebow (unless you cheer for another team in the SEC). Tebow is absolutely, 100%, what is right with sports. While everybody seems to give Urban Meyer all the credit for creating a college football juggernaut, I’m going to hold out declaring him the lord and savior of college football until I watch him win once the Messiah graduates. Sure Alex Smith had a nice season at Utah when they went unbeaten, but that team played powder puffs all the way through their joke of a BCS game against Pitt. Likewise, when you’ve got a 240-pound bowling ball that is smart and can throw the ball, it sure makes life in the red zone pretty easy.

Anyway, Tebow is coming back, and everybody else just needs to deal with it.

The next video is just plain funny. There is a bit of foul language, but anytime you get to watch Percy Harvin smack Urban Meyer in the ass, it’s all good with me. Check out the surprised and pissed off look on Coach Meyer’s face when he gets it. Almost as funny as the goons supplying the commentary. (Hat tip: EDSBS)
